Musical comedy duo Leisa Rea and Sarah Adams have been performing together as ADAMS & REA since 2006, collecting rave reviews and a dedicated fan base along the way.
Imaginative, unique and very funny, their performance combines musicality with brilliant comic timing.
Armed with ukulele, banjo, guitar and mandolin, Adams & Rea cover the gamut of pressing social issues - and indulge in a bit of booty shaking. Their first show on the Edinburgh Fringe, Blissfully Unaware, was described as 'gleefully un-PC.'
Sarah Adams and Leisa Rea bring artful performances to numbers about the drearily mundane across a wide range of musical styles – calypso to flamenco; rap to ballad. Taking a devilishly funny look at everything from middle-class Mums to Abu Hamza and combining excellent musicianship with impeccable comic timing, Adams & Rea make a great addition to any corporate event.
Separately Leisa Rea has played with the hugely popular Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, whilst Sarah Adams is winner of the Funny Women Award. In the words of one critic, together they are 'probably the funniest female musical duo since French and Saunders.'
