Vida are a brand new group formed of four diverse girls, brought together by friendship and their shared love of music.
The girls, AJ, Cat, Tanisha and Che3kz, all bring their individual elements, style, panache and creativity to the group and are collectively pushing boundaries, breaking rules and proving they are the ones to watch. Their mentor is Oritsé Williams of JLS.
Founding member AJ Azari had a vision for a group and didn’t want to settle for anything less than the best. It took her 3 years to get the line up right. Cat Williams became the second member in 2009 before finding Tanisha Spring and Kerin ‘Che3kz’ Morris.
The girls work ethic is 24/7. They work around the clock and are causing trouble, playing pranks and generally causing a stir whenever they get a chance.
Oritsé first discovered them on the live circuit and was immediately impressed. The girls were gigging in clubs all over London and, to his bemusement, he could not believe that this unknown act had the crowds up out of their seats. Vida love to entertain so when they are on stage they give nothing less than their all. Collectively they are powerful performers and not afraid to fully interact with their audiences.
Oritsé approached the girls after seeing them perform for a second time, telling them he would like to help take them to the next level.
He helped the girls develop themselves for a few months to get them tight and to a high enough standard to start presenting them to management teams. Once seen, never forgotten and the rest, as they say, is history.
Are you ready for Vida fever? They are naughty but nice girls who have a lot of attitude. Vida are about to keep the Girl Power going by being the biggest Girl Group since the Spice Girls. Buckle your seat belts because you’re in for a ride!
