Paul McCaffrey

 Paul McCaffrey

A relative newcomer to stand-up, Paul McCaffrey has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting new acts around, winning both The London Paper and the Latitude Festival new act competitions in 2009.

Paul’s warm and anecdotal style of stand-up, made distinctive by his brilliant portrayal of the characters he encounters in his life, has made him a hugely successful act on the comedy circuit and at the Edinburgh Festival.

This year Paul took his debut solo stand-up show, ‘Saying Something Stupid’ to the Underbelly, to great critical acclaim, having previously appeared as part of the Big Value Comedy Show and the AAA Stand-Up Show at the Pleasance.

Paul has been heard on ‘Russell Kane’s Whistle-Stop Tour’ (BBC Radio 2) and is a regular guest on the Matt Forde Show (talkSPORT).

He has also entertained audiences with his studio warm-up for The Morgana Show (Channel 4) and That Sunday Night Show (ITV 1), and can currently be seen at some of the best comedy clubs in the country.
