Rachel Elnaugh
Rachel was an accountant with Arthur Andersen when she got the idea for a business offering special gifts for special occasions. The resulting company, Red Letter Days offered 'gift experiences' such as driving grand prix cars or flying in jet aircraft. The company spawned a whole industry estimated to be worth £200m now.She was seen in the first two series of "Dragons' Den" and is one of the UK's leading business women.
Red Letter Days ran into trouble in 2005 and was bought by Theo Pathitis and Peter Jones. Rachel wrote a book of her experences and is developing new business ideas.
