Alex Fynn

Alex worked as a director at Saatchi & Saatchi advertising for nearly 20 years, responsible for some of the biggest advertisers in the UK including Procter & Gamble, the Health Education Authority and Cunard and a number of clients in sport including Tottenham Hotspur and the Football League.
Since leaving Saatchi & Saatchi in the mid 1990s he has worked as a sports consultant advising clubs (including Manchester United, Celtic and Fulham) and federations (the Football Association and the Rugby Football Union) on media and marketing, specialising in broadcasting rights. He has also advised the British Athletics Federation and other top football clubs.
As a result of these activities he is acknowledged as one of the architects of the Premier League – (the Sunday Times called him “the spiritual godfather of the Premier League”) and the Champions League and he is recognised as one of the leading ‘gurus’ of football. He created the prototype plan for Silvio Berlusconi.
He lectures and broadcasts on the politics and the business of football from an insider’s point of view and is the author of a number of best selling books on the subject.
