Nigel Stevenson

Nigel was the Main TV anchor for Bloomberg Television from December 1996 – March 2009 where he was responsible for shaping the editorial and show format since the channel’s inception.
Five years of presenting the channel’s flagship morning show; reporting financial, world news and sport; extensive OB experience, including from London Stock Exchange, Bank of England and Westminster on key dates in financial calendar has given Nigel a unique insight into the world of financial broadcasting with the ability to work well under pressure.
Nigel always invests extensive research for guest interviews, preferring always to use own questions to probe and direct interviews in desired way.
CEO interviews
Nigel was invited by Bloomberg to present the prestigious ‘For the Record’ series of interviews with CEOs from several FTSE 100 companies including BT, Diageo, BAT, Imperial Tobacco and Royal KPN in the Netherlands. As a result he has worked closely with CEOs, such as Ben Verwaayen, Paul Walsh and Sir Richard Branson to create programmes which addressed critical issues facing their organizations. This resulted in breaking news such as the announcement via the show of Imperial Tobacco’s decision to launch in the US market.
Other interests:
Sport in general, French culture and literature, travel. Nigel is fluent in French with 2 years experience of working abroad, firstly as a teacher and secondly as a hockey coach.
