Alex Temple
He was born in Scotland and educated in Glasgow and then Liverpool, at a time when Merseyside was the centre of the world! Teaching in an inner city school in the late 60's gave him a good grounding in the development of his sense of humour
However, flying aeroplanes has been his passion since he first took the controls of a Piper Cherokee in the 1970's.
In his after dinner talk he presents the comical side of learning to fly an aeroplane. Highlights of his talk are the, "free flying lessons!" the illustrated examples of amusing incidents and the details of the actual progress towards a licence. The "flying lessons" involve the entire party, usually on their feet participating, as well as responding in groups, to technical terms!
An excellent raconteur, Alex would be suitable for all corporate dinners.
