Tony Juniper

Tony presently works as a Special Adviser to the Prince of Wales Rainforests Project - a two year-long initiative that seeks consensus on a new international mechanism to slow down tropical deforestation. He is also a Senior Associate with the Cambridge University Programme for Sustainability Leadership where he is designing new courses for senior executives and working as a member of the teaching faculty.
He advises several international companies on their sustainability strategies and frequently speaks and lectures on environmental and sustainability questions. He is a member of advisory panels with the Science Museum and British Council and is a member of the advisory board of Sandbag and a board member of Climate for Ideas. He is also an ambassador for the National Trust’s vision to restore a large area of Cambridgeshire wetlands around Wicken Fen.
Tony Juniper writes extensively and is the Editor-in-Chief of National Geographic’s Green Magazine (launched in December 2009). He contributes a weekly column on greener living for the Sunday Times’ Home section, writes a blog at The Guardian’s Comment is Free website and is regularly published in Resurgence magazine. Tony is also writing on a new book with HRH The Prince of Wales and Ian Skelly called Harmony, which is scheduled for publication by Harper Collins in 2010.
