Nitin Ganatra

Born in Kenya in 1967, of Indian parents, Nitin came to Britain when he was just four years old. He is now an internationally known British actor, a popular awards host and experienced after dinner speaker.
As an actor he is well-known on TV as Eastenders’ good natured postman Masood Ahmed, having regularly appeared in the series since 2007.
Nitin’s other acting credits include the part of Prince Pondicherry in Tim Burton’s ‘Charlie and the Chocolate factory’, Kholi Saab in the Bollywood film ‘Bride and Prejudice’, Dev Raja in ITV’s ‘Mumbai Calling’ and Haroun in ‘Mistress of Spices’.
He has also appeared in the first ever iPod commercial and in an episode of ‘The Catheriine Tate Show’.
