Angellica Bell is currently a regular reporter for the successful daily topical show on BBC1, THE ONE SHOW, which regularly attracts viewing figures in excess of 5 million and has been since it hit our screens.
Her progression from children's TV presenter to adult factual and entertainment programming has been seamless and successful. She has had BAFTA recognition, where she was nominated for the Best Children's Presenter award for 2 years running, as well as winning the best presenter category at the Black Filmmakers Awards.
In 2010 she presented 'THE BRITISH SOAP AWARDS AFTER PARTY' for ITV1&2 with her husband and fellow TV Presenter Michael Underwood. They also presented THE ZONE together for ITV1. She regularly appears on 'THE WRIGHT STUFF' on Channel 5 as a panellist, 'THE ALAN TITCHMARSH SHOW' on ITV1 , presented competitions for 'THIS MORNING' and 'DAYBREAK' and also guest presented for two weeks for 'SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND' on BBC2.
Also in 2010, she returned to CBBC to record a show called 'PROJECT PARENT' where children choose a date for their single-parent. This is now on the CBBC Channel every Tuesday at 5.45pm.
In 2008 she presented 'CELEBAIR' for ITV2 and at the same time was asked to go back to CBBC to present 'ELECTION' with Jonathan Dimbleby, a political show for young people that went on to win a Children's Bafta in 2009.
In 2007, Angellica hosted DANCE XTRA for BBC3, the spin off show to Dance X for BBC1, where she had to manage some fairly high expectations as well as the tears and tantrums from the competing dancing groups.
Angellica has travelled the world extensively as presenter of the primetime shows HOLIDAY HITSQUAD and DEPARTURE LOUNGE, both for BBC1. She has also fronted EASTENDERS XTRA for BBC3, where she brought us an insight to the behind the scenes action and gossip from Albert Square and in 2007 she sang for charity in COMIC RELIEF DOES FAME ACADEMY for BBC1.
Angellica's early presenting career started on CBBC. In the 6 and a half years she was there, she presented high profile shows such as THE SATURDAY SHOW, SHORT CHANGE and 50/50. After officially leaving CBBC, she was asked to present a half hour special called ANGELLICA TIME TRAVELLER, which looked at the abolition of the slave trade.
Angellica has even turned her hand to radio. She presented 'MAKING TRACKS' for Radio 3, an alternative music show for children, where she also got the chance to present live concerts around the country with the BBC Orchestras. She also covered regularly for Ben Shepherd on his 'HOT or NOT' show on 'HEAT' radio and last year covered on Metro Radio on The Tony Horne Show in Newcastle.
Angellica is a versatile and intelligent presenter, with a host of experience across several genres of television. Her professionalism and ability to make the difficult look both fun and easy make her one of the countries most sought after presenters.
Angellica loves a challenge she has run the London Marathon, 5 great north runs and has recently completed the Three Peaks Challenge where she climbed the three biggest mountain peaks in the UK in 24 hours. She works regularly for a number of different charities. She is an Ambassador for The Prince's Trust and helps CHASE. She is a school Governor. She loves baking and has set up a small cupcake business and sells cakes at a local cafe. Angellica likes to keep fit and regularly goes to the gym, practices Bikram Yoga and has taken Hip Hop dance classes.
Regular contributor to BBC's The One Show and has guest presented Something for the Weekend with Tim Lovejoy (now Sunday Brunch on C4). Started out on Blue Peter.
