Meet the team - Performing Artistes

JJ Jackson - Director

JJ has worked in events for over 25 years, and is now "poacher turned game keeper", booking celebrities for corporate events rather than running them himself, and finds previous experience invaluable when guiding both clients and artistes.

Like all of the team, JJ is dedicated to customer service, and going the extra mile. He lives in london, and his passions outside of business include classic cars, golf and fine dining.

Lauralee Whyte - Director

Lauralee has worked in events for over 10 years, both supplying talent and running events herself. As well as working on the traditional conferences and awards, she is also developing our involvement with influencer marketing where people’s social media profile is often more important than traditional media profile. Like all the team, she’s hard working and conscientious, always going the extra mile for clients.

Sophie Evans

Sophie has been in the event industry for over 7 years, with her passion beginning at university, where she studied Event & Festival Management and graduated in 2017 with a drive to continue her work in the events and live entertainment industry.

Sophie has a wide range of experience including hiring Santa’s and Elves for Christmas Grottos(!), assisting in the successful completion of 3 large exhibitions located in London and abroad as both a speaker and sponsor booker, and now finding herself at Performing Artistes, and loving every minute!

Sophie continues to enjoy planning and attending gigs and festivals as well as learning about live broadcasting from our Gt Portland Street studio.

Stanley Jackson - Chairman

Stanley has a background in financial services (former board member of Noble Lowndes and Towry Law) and is the author of a book on Occupational Pension Schemes.
