Shortlist

Emma Jesson is a familiar and popular face of ITV Weather.

Formerly of GMTV, she currently presents for several ITV regions, mainly Central and Granada.

Frequently recognised for her chirpy Bye Bye sign-off, she originally trained to be a vet, but side-stepped into TV in her year off.

Emma has carved out a strong corporate niche for herself hosting award ceremonies and charitable events for clients such as The Law Society, NHS and the Chamber of Commerce Group.

She is as happy hosting a dinner for 80 guests, as chairing a conference for 6000 and recently hosted for the NHS at the House of Lords. Emma can also self-edit videos for clients as part of an engagement, and records voice overs and internal corporate videos.

Sadly she has had to turn down the offer of panto again this year, but there's plenty of time for that. 'Oh yes there is!'

Away from the day job she is very much a family girl, enjoys dinner and a musical, sailing, windsurfing and scuba, languages, comedy and cooking¦ and - when there's time - sleeping!
