Izsi has credits spanning platforms like Apple TV, Netflix, BBC Radio 4, and the British Museum, she combines rigorous research with humour and storytelling flair.
She is a highly knowledgeable, experienced and well-respected speaker, and has spoken at countless festivals including The Dublin Literary Fest, Hay Festival and Jersey Festival of Words. Her humour, sense of fun and immense historical knowledge make her a popular speaker for schools and colleges. She has chaired panels at The British Library, British Museum and British Science Festival.

Iszi has also presented award shows and celebratory events such as The Museum Heritage Awards and The Annual Ethical Gala at the Conway Hall. She has also spoken for The British Humanists, and at QED conferences.
Her television credits include Lost Women Spies for Apple TV, Pirates: Behind the Legends on National Geographic, The Lost Pirate Kingdom on Netflix, The Great British Landmark Fixers on the Yesterday Channel, and U-Boat: Wargamers for Sky History. On radio, she is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4, co-presenting Your Place or Mine with Shaun Keaveny, and previously recording Making History with Tom Holland. She also presents The Forum on BBC World Service. In the podcasting world, she co-hosts Terrible Lizards, a palaeontology show with Dr. Dave Hone, and collaborates with the British Museum on The Membercast and British Museum Untold.

As a comedian, Iszi has performed at international festivals and was part of a Perrier Award-winning Best Newcomer show at the Edinburgh Fringe. She regularly headlines arts centres, hosts comedy nights across the country, and is a resident MC at Progress Theatre in Reading. Her unique blend of humour and history has also been featured in bespoke events for venues such as Southwark Cathedral, Dulwich Picture Gallery, and the Ashmolean Museum.

Iszi is also a prolific author of children’s historical fiction, known for her commitment to historical accuracy. Her novel Blackbeard’s Treasure, aimed at readers aged 9–12, was Blackwell’s Children’s Book of the Month in 2023. Her younger reader series, Time Machine Next Door (for ages 6–9), is now being used in Key Stage 2 classrooms across the UK. Recent titles include City of Spies (2024), set during the American Revolutionary War, and The Cursed Tomb, an Ancient Egyptian adventure set in 1249 BCE.
