Joe Wells is a neurodivergent writer, comedian and podcaster.Spending much of his year on tour and has sold thousands of tickets to his solo shows. His writing career began at the age of 15 when his first book 'Touch and Go Joe' about his experiences of OCD was published, since then he has made a name for himself as a stand up comic, writer and podcaster. He has supported Frankie Boyle, Alexei Sayle and Stephen K Amos.

In 2020 Joe went viral with his stand up clip 'Joe Wells on having a non-autistic brother' which gained over 4.5 million views across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. With more videos gaining views in the millions Joe now has over 150k followers across platforms. Joe co-hosts the Neurodivergent Moments podcast and, in 2026, his new book inspired by the podcast is due to be published. 
 
Joe has written for children’s cartoons The Woohoos (Milkshake) and Pablo: Next Level (BBC/RTE/Crayola) and has spoken about comedy writing at the 2025 Childrens Media Conference in Sheffield.
 
Joe regularly performs comedy and gives talks about neurodiversity for corporate clients including Amazon, Deutsche Bank, Milestones Trust, NEU, and JustEat.
