John Thomson is a comedy actor and performer. Having studied with Steve Coogan at university, they went on to work together on programmes such as Spitting Image, Coogan's Run and Knowing Me, Knowing You...with Alan Partridge.
He was part of the BBC sketch series The Fast Show throughout its run, before taking on the role of Pete in ITV Comedy Drama Cold Feet which has now clocked up 9 series.
Away from acting, he has appeared on numerous TV shows, and was a contestant on the 2013 series of Celebrity Masterchef, and the second series of The Masked Singer.
