Roger is known to millions as the voice of University Challenge (he has the unenviable task of announcing each contestant when they answer a question - "Surname, College") and many organisers use him to perform Voice of God duties at events.
He has now added a new feather to his bow, taking on hosting duties and even the odd speech, sharing anecdotes from behind the scenes and even the vagaries of the RAF recruitment process (his first love is flying, but at 6'6 he was too tall for the RAF!).
