Inspiring Women

With International Women's Day just around the corner, we have been working hard on many briefs for inspiring women. Just a few we've been in touch with recently include:

Viv Groskop is an established writer, stand-up and presenter. Her new book ‘How to Own the Room’ is a powerful guide to overcoming anxiety about performance, how to deal with those moments when, as a woman, you are made to feel small: in short, how to ‘own the room’! She draws on inspirational women such as Michelle Obama, J.K. Rowling and Oprah Winfrey. And Viv certainly talks the talk with her keynote and workshops on the same theme.

Sophie Ward is an actor and writer who is also taking to the speaking circuit with plenty to say – she has a degree in Philosophy and Literature and is studying her PhD on the use of narrative in philosophy of mind. Her first novel is published next year. Entitled ‘Love and Other Thought Experiments’ and you can find out what that might be all about if you book her to speak!

Meanwhile another award-winning journalist and charismatic public speaker, Poorna Bell, is flying the flag for women’s issues, mental health, BAME and social media. She has acted as a facilitator and keynote speaker at wellness events and recently spoke for the NHS.
